So far so good
I have only used 2 of the attachments for the tool. I like the precision that the tool allows. The oscillation speed is fast and the tool is heavy enough that control is easy. This review is of limited value to prospective buyers, but at this point I can say that I have confidence that the other attachments that are included will work well. The tool is well built and the attachments switch out easily. I am happy so far.

Instructions??
The tool comes with no real Owner’s Manual, and the FEIN web site was not a lot of help. I found a manual on a supplier web site, but still this tool could have a better manual. The tool itself is realy nice. I will be using it more as I put in wood floor.

Great tool, expensive attachments
The Fein Multimaster tool is fantastic. I used this tool to ‘hand sand’ hard to reach areas of a large hardwood floor refinishing project. I also used a couple of the blade attachments for replacing slats, cutting molding, etc. I could run the tool for hours and it would not get hot. Unfortunately, the two “hook and loop’ sanding pad attachments that came with my set did not last very long. These pad attachments AND especially the velcro sandpaper packs are ridiculously expensive. I have even purchased other sandpaper brands and trimmed them to fit the Multimaster. Fein should be proud of their tool, but embarrassed by their accessory prices.
