A must for city water
In my municipality, the water is chlorinated pretty heavy. When I took hot showers, my skin would itch and breathing all the chlorine steam was no good either. I have been using this product for 2 years now and think it is great. If you can’t afford or install a whole house filtration system, than this is for you. Of course you need the head to go along with it.
Not 100%, but better than most for filtering out the chlorine
I live in Miami FL in an apartment. Between the heavily chlorinated water supply and probably old pipes, my skin and hair had been SO dry. I usually have a thick head of hair, but I noticed that I was losing more and more strands after I shampooed in the shower. I tried several shower filters, but this one seems to be the best. As soon as I installed the filter, my hair was back to normal and my skin wasn’t so dry. It was like a miracle. But each replacement filter doesn’t last anywhere near the “six months” that is says on the package. I’d say it was more like 6 weeks, but again that could be our water supply. My hair and skin are great for the six weeks with a fresh filter. Add in the great price on this website (the same filter sells for almost $30 at my local Ace Hardware store!) and buying the filters here is a no-brainer. I highly recommend this unit.
Culligan Handheld showerhead with filter
My granddaughter has long thick hair which makes it difficult for her to shampoo properly. This product allows her to rinse both the dirt and the shampoo out of her hair. But, my daughter says that she is hooked on it too because the filter doesn’t allow the hard water to dry her skin out. The way they are raving, I think I will have to get myself one soon.
