Great TV
I bought this back at Christmas and have been very impressed with the picture quality. After some minor adjusting, the picture is as good as I could hope for.
The one thing I would bring up is the off angle viewing is not to be dismissed and should be considered when buying. The horizontal angles aren’t bad and every seat in our tv room has an outstanding picture. But we have a house where our kitchen area is above our living room and looks down on the set and there is most definitely a dimming of the picture from up there. It’s not unwatchable at all, but it’s not the same picture as you get when you’re in the room with it. It’s also much more noticeable when light is shining through our windows during the day than it is a night. The set is plenty bright enough that if you are in front of it, the light doesn’t matter at all, but when you are off angle from above, it really washes the picture out. I would think that with most installations this would not be an issue, but for those with an unusual setup, you would be wise to consider it. It’s really not a big deal for us since we don’t really watch from up there, just sometimes we check something out and you see the difference.
All in all, we’re thrilled with our purchase.

One of the best items I’ve ever bought. I was actually shopping for a smaller replacement TV for our bedroom when I came across this model. After some research about the new LED lamp bulb this TV utilizes, it took all the reservations away that I had about projection TV’s.
