Monroe Reflex Monotube Shock Absorber is specifically engineered to provide better handling, control and performance for light trucks. This shock absorber features a high-pressure gas charge (240-260 PSI) that separates the unit internal oil and nitrogen to provide additional spring rate, helping to maximize damping efficiency and control. It includes a free floating dividing piston that separates shock fluid from high-pressure gas charged. This shock absorber contains a hydraulic lockout to cushion the impact as the vehicle suspension is fully extended. It consists of a shock housing which provides high strength to resist damage and special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction. It includes of a fluon banded piston that utilizes the entire piston width and diameter for a superior seal with less friction, providing greater responsiveness to changing road conditions. This shock absorber comes along with a hardened chrome plated piston rod for longer service life and is backed by a limited life time warranty.
